Car Buying Advice

If your looking to buy a used car, it's always good to do research to help you find the perfect used car for you. For example, if your looking for a used car under 5,000, you should google things like "best used cars under 5,000" and searchs like that. Once you've done a good ammount of research and have at least three cars in mind, you should do your research on those specific cars. On websites like Edmunds.com. That would tell you, the ratings of the car, and other important thinsg like that. After that you should be down to two choices of cars and look for those cars locally like on a website like cars.com. That would show you the car you want for the price you want near you, and give the seller, price and VIN number. Next you should use that VIN number and go to carfax.com and look at both cars history and then you would have enough information to make a fial choice.

companies that blog.

Disney
The link, http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/ that was under Disney Blog was called Disney Parks Blog. The most recent blog on there posted on January 31st was called "Disney Dream Visits Castaway Cay For Fun In The Sun Durning Ships Maiden Voyage". This post was written by Jason Lasecki. He was blogging about how their first cruise of a brand new ship went. Looking through this blog, there were two things i liked about it which was design and all the pictures. There wasn't really anything that i disliked. The type of posts that were being posted, talked about all the cool things this company does, and how fun the parks are. It really makes the company look really good. Im guessing the only post good things so the readers could see all the fun things the have. That helps the company get more vistors which equals money. This blog made me want to change the apperance of my blog a little.

Coca-Cola
The coca-cola blog is called Coa-Cola Conversations, http://www.coca-colaconversations.com/. The most recent post was called "Get Free Coke When You Buy A Refrigartor" is was posted by Ted Ryan and it was about getting coke with a refrigartor or somethign like that. I liked how in this blog it had blogs about instresting things liek about the company's history and all that. I also liked looking at all the pictures like the old pictures. Again, not really anything i disliked about this blog either. The purpose of this blog seems to me, to be for adviertisement of course, but to show what a trustworthy company it is, and how it's been so big for so long.

 Google
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/ is the url for the Google blog called, The Official Google Blog. The first post on there was the most recent which was called "Tech for good- Catching up on Google.org" posted by Urs Holzle. It was about the new technology coming up for google or something. I like that Google has a blog, it seems like it wouldn't but it does. I don't like how it's so plan, liek it goes with the Company Google but it's boring and it has toooo much text so that makes it more boring. The company thinks you will learn and see how great and HELPFUL google is by showing how much they've grown. This blog helps the company have even more google lovers cause it's such a trustworthy site.

Microsoft
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/blogs/portalhome.mspx, thats the url for the Microsoft blog called Microsoft community blogs. Spontanieous Publicty by Luke Foust was the most recent blog on the site. It talked about, how bigger Microsoft is getting with all the things they keep coming out with and things like that. I liek how this site had everything set up, like the links, and the blogs were organized in a certain way. I dont liek that it was too plain.
This blog helps the company look good, for sure, cause that's what i was thinking when i was takign a look at all the blogs. It's used for advertisment i think. It makes me want to add more thinsg to my blog.

Chevron
http://www.chevron.com/wpc/blog/ thats the url to the Chevron blog which is called Chevron blog at World Petroleum congress. The most recent blog on that site was called Hydrocarbons in Ultra-Deep Reservoirs, that was posted by Paul Siegle. He was blogging about what chemicals their comapny is using or are in need of. I like how they had videos and pictures in their blogs and it looked prety neat and nice. There wasn't anything i disliked. The purpose of this blog i think is to shwo people how much of a good company this really is, to take it more seriously i guess. Hopes you see morethen just their gas. This blog can hel pthe company by gettign more people. Didn't really get any ideas from this blog.

"Forever 21 Job Fair"

Forever 21 is a very popular fashion retailer that people shop at, world wide. But Forever 21 is not only having long lines of shoppers, but on January 11th had a line of hundreds waiting for hours, to get interviewed for a job at Forever 21. They were having "a job fair" they said they were looking to hire 400 people. It began on Tuesday January 11th and continued until Thursday January 14th. Each day was hours and hours of waiting and interviewing from 10 in the morning to 6 at night.

Forever 21's business is continuing to grow as the years and days go by. It's getting more popular, getting more varieties of items to sell, the size of each store is growing and it's making billions. This buisness is obviously becoming very very very rich, if they have enough money to pay 400 new employees plus who knows how many employees they already have. And this was just at one of the Forever 21 stores around the world. Not only does that show how much it's money is groiwng but, it shows how much it's growing in size. They must have huge deparment stores to need 400 MORE employees.

Besides, how the business is doing with it's money but the popularity is getting just as huge as well. The popularity is part of why it's doing so good. What store really has hundreds of people with the eagerness to actually want to wait hours and HOURS just for a job interview? That's unbelieveable to me, and some people actually came back the next day when they didn't get their turn the day they went. It's crazy because not so long ago forever was just a little store in some of the malls, now it's, it's own mall!

Google Blog Search and Technorati.com

When I put in Forever 21 in the google blog search and the top three sites that came up were defendernetwork.com, shoemamas.com and fashion.elle.com.
When i searched for Forever 21 in Technorati and the top three were Chicago Breaking Buisness, Best Week Ever, and Grist.
The similarities between the results from the two sites was that the gave a lot of information more then opinion. and talked about buisness.

Companies that use..

Companies that use wikis use them to calibrirate and help build their ideas. Like things a product they are wanting to sell. They ue wikis to find information on whatever they need for that, so they know everything most people know.

Companies that use blogs to get the opinions and what real people say about certain things they need to know about to help their buisness. They use the as resources to calibriate just like they use the wikis. They majority use blogs and wikis.

Differences between Blogger and WordPress

I searched for the differences of these two sites, and i clickex on one website that said some differences was that, in WordPress you are responsible for everything, you control and do everything and with blogger it's controlled by the site. WordPress has more different type of features when Blogger is mostly just blogging. Blogger is free and has a lot of spam. WordPress is something you download and yo ucan access it for free too. And posts from blogger can show up when searched in Google.

Wayback Machine.

I never heard of the Wayback Machine 'till today. When i put in Tucson High's website, it went to as back to 2002. The colors on the sites from the different years stayed the same of course, since those are the school's colors. The links on the site stayed the same most of the time too. The design and apperance is the thing that was changing, and the information on the site since it was being update everyday. Most of them were alright, the best one i think was from 2001.
Then i put in Google, they went back to 1998, the site's apperance, the way it's set up didn't change, just things like the font the color size and design of the logo.
