"Forever 21 Job Fair"

Forever 21 is a very popular fashion retailer that people shop at, world wide. But Forever 21 is not only having long lines of shoppers, but on January 11th had a line of hundreds waiting for hours, to get interviewed for a job at Forever 21. They were having "a job fair" they said they were looking to hire 400 people. It began on Tuesday January 11th and continued until Thursday January 14th. Each day was hours and hours of waiting and interviewing from 10 in the morning to 6 at night.

Forever 21's business is continuing to grow as the years and days go by. It's getting more popular, getting more varieties of items to sell, the size of each store is growing and it's making billions. This buisness is obviously becoming very very very rich, if they have enough money to pay 400 new employees plus who knows how many employees they already have. And this was just at one of the Forever 21 stores around the world. Not only does that show how much it's money is groiwng but, it shows how much it's growing in size. They must have huge deparment stores to need 400 MORE employees.

Besides, how the business is doing with it's money but the popularity is getting just as huge as well. The popularity is part of why it's doing so good. What store really has hundreds of people with the eagerness to actually want to wait hours and HOURS just for a job interview? That's unbelieveable to me, and some people actually came back the next day when they didn't get their turn the day they went. It's crazy because not so long ago forever was just a little store in some of the malls, now it's, it's own mall!

Google Blog Search and Technorati.com

When I put in Forever 21 in the google blog search and the top three sites that came up were defendernetwork.com, shoemamas.com and fashion.elle.com.
When i searched for Forever 21 in Technorati and the top three were Chicago Breaking Buisness, Best Week Ever, and Grist.
The similarities between the results from the two sites was that the gave a lot of information more then opinion. and talked about buisness.

Companies that use..

Companies that use wikis use them to calibrirate and help build their ideas. Like things a product they are wanting to sell. They ue wikis to find information on whatever they need for that, so they know everything most people know.

Companies that use blogs to get the opinions and what real people say about certain things they need to know about to help their buisness. They use the as resources to calibriate just like they use the wikis. They majority use blogs and wikis.

Differences between Blogger and WordPress

I searched for the differences of these two sites, and i clickex on one website that said some differences was that, in WordPress you are responsible for everything, you control and do everything and with blogger it's controlled by the site. WordPress has more different type of features when Blogger is mostly just blogging. Blogger is free and has a lot of spam. WordPress is something you download and yo ucan access it for free too. And posts from blogger can show up when searched in Google.

Wayback Machine.

I never heard of the Wayback Machine 'till today. When i put in Tucson High's website, it went to as back to 2002. The colors on the sites from the different years stayed the same of course, since those are the school's colors. The links on the site stayed the same most of the time too. The design and apperance is the thing that was changing, and the information on the site since it was being update everyday. Most of them were alright, the best one i think was from 2001.
Then i put in Google, they went back to 1998, the site's apperance, the way it's set up didn't change, just things like the font the color size and design of the logo.

web 2.0 applications

I searched Web 2.0 applications on Google, and i looked at a list of the, on listio.com.
They all seemed the same to me, but if i had to say which ones did i like more then others i would have to say doogl and infite.ly, doogl is a site were you can rate, comment, complain or anything about any site, it can kind of help you when your learning or looking for a new site. Infite.ly, is a site where you can check up all your profiles on websites like Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter all together.

alexa.com

On Alexa.com, it shows the most popular sites on the web. Google was number one on the top 500 list, Facebook was number two, then Youtube as number three. Google is a search engine, were you cna search the web, images, and usenet. Some features of Google, include, Pagerank, caching, and translation of results.
Facebook is a social website, were you can keep up with friends, upload photos, and share videos and links.
Youtube is a site were you upload your own videos for the whole world to watch.
These three sites are probably really popular because they're trustworthy sites, they have a lot of cool features and useful.
